Hello Collage Club members! We hope you’re having an amazing start to the year. It is June 1, which means our thirty-fourth Collage Club prompt is here:

Accordion zine

We once again have Collage Club co-founder Eleanor Cummins to thank as she wades through a deluge of online craft us to find us the truly worthy inspo to draw from. This time she texted me this idea:

If you haven’t noticed, Eleanor and I like to intersperse more technical collage assignments in between the more conceptual or subject matter-y themes. So this month, make an accordion zine! It does NOT have to be a house-shaped zine, or anything to do with home at all (especially since we covered the subject of “home” a little over a year ago). Your accordion zine can be about whatever you like or nothing at all.

Now, dear reader, YOUR TASK IS SIMPLE: Run with this inspiration and collage something — anything! — by the end of the month.

Then, share a photo of the results with Hannah at a.hannah.seo@gmail.com and they’ll circulate it in next month’s newsletter for all to see.

We’ll pick one idea at random each month, in the hopes every club member’s ideas are represented. We would love nothing more than to collage to your creative vision, please send us ideas!!!
