3. Dreams
It’s November 1st and you know what that means! Our third Collage Club prompt is here . . .
Most recent dream you had (if you don’t remember your dreams, then what you dream to be)
The above idea comes from the incredible Allie, who had the following to say about their suggestion:
Every morning, I wake up and turn to my partner to ask, ‘What dreams did you have last night?’ She always has the most vivid dreams, full of colors, faces, and wild adventures that only her mind can create. But when she asks me this question, I usually can’t remember my dreams!
As a recent Psychology and Social Work student, I’ve always loved reading about Carl Jung’s (a founding psychoanalyst) dream theory. Jung believed dreams are a way for the unconscious mind to communicate with the conscious. In short, our dreams are a manifestation of symbolic images that can be applied to our own physical realities.
Since my dreams have always been challenging to remember, I share this prompt because I'm curious about what I’m missing out on! Hopefully, I, too, can remember at least one dream this month!

Now, dear reader, YOUR TASK IS SIMPLE: Run with this inspiration and collage something — anything! — by the end of the month.
Then, share a photo of the results with Hannah at a.hannah.seo@gmail.com and I’ll circulate it in next month’s newsletter for all to see.
While you’re at it, please submit ideas for prompts HERE. We’ll pick one at random each month, in the hopes every club member’s ideas are represented.
Finally, please feel free to forward this email to friends and family, enemies and lovers. Everyone is welcome!
